ACID AND BASES

What Are The Inorganic Acids And Bases?

Acids that DO NOT Contain Carbon Are Known As inorganic Acids or Mineral acids. Bases that DO NOT Contain Carbon Are Known As inorganic Bases.

Inorganic Acid:

Inorganic Acid?also Known As Mineral Acid, Is The General Term That Describes A Number Of Inorganic Compounds Belonging To Acids. Inorganic Acid Is A Compound Consisting Of Hydrogen And Non-metallic Elements Or Their Groups, E.g., Hydrochloric Acid (HCI), Nitric Acid (HNO3), Boric Acid (H3BO3), Sulfuric Acid (of H2SO4), Carbonic Acid (H2CO3), Phosphoric Acid (of H3PO4), Etc.

Inorganic Bases:

An inorganic Base causes Indicators To Take On Characteristic Colors And Usually Refers To Water-soluble Hydroxides, E.g., Sodium, Potassium Or Ammonium Hydroxide; This Term Also Includes Weak bases, E.g., Water-soluble Carbonates Or Bicarbonates.
